Guinness PRO14 FanScore Terms & Conditions

Entry into the Guinness PRO14 FanScore Competition and all prizes are subject to the following Terms and Conditions. By participating in the competition, you are accepting that your entry is subject to these Terms and Conditions.

How to Play

Correctly predict the outcome (home win, draw or away win) for 2019/2020 PRO14 fixtures to win various prizes throughout the season. This game format currently applies to 2019/2020 PRO14 Round 1 to Round 21, however Celtic Rugby reserves the right to extend to include matches from the final series of the 2019/2020 PRO14 during the course of the season.

For the avoidance of doubt the result of a game is as of end of the final whistle at the end of regular time.

How to Win

Correctly predict:

Streaks

  • The outcome of 6 2019/2020 PRO14 games in a row *to be entered in to a prize draw for a PRO14 goodie bag which includes a signed shirt. Draw to take place at the end of 2019/2020 PRO14 Round 21.**
  • The outcome of 12 games in a row* *to be entered in to a prize draw for 2 x PRO14 Premium Tickets to the Final. Draw to take place at the end of 2019/2020 PRO14 Round 21.**
  • The outcome of 18 games in a row*to be entered in to a prize draw for 2 x PRO14 Premium Tickets to the Final and 2 x PRO14 goodie bag which includes a signed shirt . Draw to take place at the end of 2019/2020 PRO14 Round 21.**
  • The outcome of 25 games in a row* to be entered in to a prize draw to win 4 x Hospitality tickets to the Final** Draw to take place at the end of 2019/2020 PRO14 Round 21.**

(Hospitality tickets include match ticket in executive seating area and refreshments. All ticket and hospitality prizes are strictly limited to tickets – winners are required to pay all travel, accommodation, subsistence and other costs.)

* Games are ordered by date, time and (in the case of games taking place at the same time) in the order displayed within the Guinness PRO14 app and website. Winning streaks of correct predictions will be always be based on this order. Edited predictions will overwrite the previous entry date and time. When a PRO14 game is postponed or abandoned the rearranged game will be included in the predictor game at Celtic Rugby and their technical partner’s discretion.

** Only one winner will be selected in the prize draw.

Round Winners

Prizes are awarded to the player who finishes a given round at the top of the ‘leader board’ for predictions, by gaining the most points for correctly predicting the outcome of matches. The round leader board contains predictions and points scored for correctly predicting the outcome of matches from that round only.

The leader board order is determined by the number of correct predictions, then active streak that contains a match in the particular round, then star rating. If all of the above match across more than one winner than the time of the first prediction in that round will be the differentiator. In all situations, edited predictions will overwrite the previous entry date and time. Star ratings are determined using the below framework:

1* users have 20%+ of their all time predictions correct

2* users have 35%+ of their all time predictions correct, and over 10 all time predictions

3* users have 50%+ of their all time predictions correct, and over 20 all time predictions

4* users have 65%+ of their all time predictions correct, and over 30 all time predictions

5* users have 80%+ of their all time predictions correct, and over 40 all time predictions

In each round, the player that finishes that round at the top of the leader board* will win 2 x tickets to a regular season PRO14 game of the winner’s choice in the 2019/20 or 2020/21 regular season (excluding finals series matches, and subject to availability at the time of request) .

The prize is strictly limited to tickets – winners are required to pay all travel, accommodation, subsistence and other costs.

Monthly Winners

Monthly prizes are awarded to the player who finishes that month at the top of the ‘leader board’ for predictions, by gaining the most points for correctly predicting the outcome of matches. The monthly leader board contains predictions and points scored for correctly predicting the outcome of matches from that month only.

The leader board order is determined by the number of correct predictions, then active streak that contains a match in the particular month, then star rating.

In each month, the player that finishes that month at the top of the leader board* will win one signed club shirt (selected by Celtic Rugby).

* In the event of there being more than one member eligible to win, the winner will be decided by the length of their active streak (i.e. the member who has the longest active streak of correct predictions with at least one match from the streak falling within the relevant month will win). Where there still remains more than one member eligible to win, the winner will be determined by comparison of their prediction performance in the most recent completed round of matches (i.e. the player with the better prediction will win). Where there still remains more than one member eligible to win, the winner will be determined by entry time of their first prediction in that round (i.e. the player with the earlier entry will win). In all situations, edited predictions will overwrite the previous entry date and time.
