Possibly the Southern Hemisphere September sunshine but most likely the lightning speed of Yaw Penxe darting down the right wing that paved the way for the Kings to begin their first half onslaught after only 5 minutes on the clock.

Martin du Toit (9mins), Rudi van Rooyen (18mins) and Harlon Klaasen (52mins) all found their way past the Glasgow defence in stealing an early bonus point and keeping the visitors from scoring up until the 59th minute. It is worth noting that this Glasgow side could not be deemed understrength and featured stars such as DTH van der Merwe, Adam Hastings, and Tommy Seymour. And further to note, the Kings tries were sublime. Quick hands, quicker feet and playing whats in front – a joy to re-watch.
Ill-discipline, an unfortunate trend in the Kings statistic over the season, themed with a Glasgow resurgence threatened to derail the delight of the home fans but the Kings did enough and held out for an eventual 38 – 28 scoreline.
