Benetton Rugby team to face Munster Rugby

With the success against Zebre Rugby in Parma, the Lions made history by gaining access to the Guinness PRO14 Final Series.


​​Kieran Crowley’s men, who will see the Red Army of the Munster Rugby as their next opponent, left Treviso this morning to fly to Shannon with their commercial partners and the Benetton Rugby Supporters Club.

​The match will be staged at Thomond Park in Limerick tomorrow evening at 6.00 pm. The referee will be Welsh referee Nigel Owens and his assistants Ben Whitehouse and Dan Jones. The match will be broadcast live on DAZN.

​The Benetton Rugby coaching staff recall Tavuyara and Zanon after injury and make four changes in total compared to the XV that took to the field last Saturday against Zebre.

​Full back will be Jayden Hayward, on the wings Ratuva Tavuyara and Monty Ioane. Marco Zanon and Luca Morisi will be the centres.

​The half backs are Dewaldt Duvenage at scrum half and captain Tommaso Allan at fly-half.

​The front row will consist of Nicola Quaglio, Luca Bigi and Marco Riccioni.

​Locks will be Marco Lazzaroni and Federico Ruzza. Finally, the back row sees Sebastian Negri, Abraham Steyn and Toa Halafihi completing the XV chosen by Crowley.
