The Aviva Stadium will be adopting a no bags policy at the Guinness PRO14 Final between Leinster and Scarlets this weekend.

The measure is in place to maximise the safety of spectators and means fans can only bring handbags smaller than an A4 piece of paper.

The advice from the Guinness PRO14 is for people to leave bags at home or in their hotel to get through the turnstiles quickly.

Anything that fits in a spectator’s pocket is allowed and extra layers can be worn to get into the stadium.

Small cameras and binoculars may be worn around the neck, but the maximum lens size is 70mm.

If a spectator requires a bigger bag for medical reasons, this is allowed, but spectators should be aware that any bags will be subjected to a search.

The no bags policy is in place to keep people safe while watching the game.

Permitted measurements (cm): 21 x 29 x 9
