The race to qualify for the Guinness PRO14 Final Series was finally settled in Round 21.

Scarlets, Edinburgh Rugby and Toyota Cheetahs all ensured their seasons were extended on the final day, joining Glasgow Warriors, Munster and Leinster.

In total, nine teams are represented in the Fantasy Rugby team of the week, with Connacht supplying five players.

Meanwhile, Ospreys fly-half Dan Biggar was this week’s star performer.

Biggar scored 21 points during Ospreys’ thrilling 26-23 victory over Cardiff Blues during Judgement Day at Principality Stadium.

The fly-half scored one of Ospreys’ two tries, converting both, slotting three penalties and kicking the winning drop goal.

Ulster hooker Rory Best, who scored two tries in his side’s 24-24 draw at Munster, was also amongst the top Fantasy Rugby points scorers in Round 21.

The draw means Ulster miss out on a place in the Guinness PRO14 Final Series with Edinburgh, Scarlets and Leinster progressing from Conference B.

Second row Tadhg Beirne gave yet another outstanding performance for Scarlets in their 33-8 victory over Dragons at Judgement Day.

He scored two of his team’s five tries in a fine all-round display which saw him pick up 18 Fantasy Rugby points ahead of the Guinness PRO14 Final Series.

There will be a transfer amnesty ahead of the semi-final qualifiers with players allowed six free transfers ahead of the semi-final and the final.
