Parma, March 24, 2017 – After the conclusion of the RBS 6 Nations, Zebre Rugby will be back in action tomorrow in the Guinness PRO12 hosting Munster at the Stadio Lanfranchi in the 18th round. With six games still to play, the Parma based franchise will start this final part of the campaign with three consecutives home games, still in search of the first home win in the competition this season.

The bottom side will face the third placed Irish team who have lost away from Limerick only once time in the Guinness PRO12 this season, in the Irish derby against Leinster. In the previous nine meetings Zebre has never won against Munster, grabbing two home losing bonus points in the 2013 and 2016 games in Parma.

The Italian coaching staff can count on five Italian internationals for this game, three of them in the starting line-up: centre Boni, scrum-half Violi and flanker Mbandà. Also another three starters are available following injury: winger Van Zyl in his first game of 2017 along with the two South African back rowers Meyer and Minnie.

Other internationals in the 15 capped by Italy during the 2017 Six Nations campaign are rested tomorrow, but they will be ready for next weekends game when the Italian side will play the re-arranged Round 3 game against Connacht.

With four home games in the last six of the regular season, Zebre are still in the hunt for a Champions Cup spot trailing the other Italian side Treviso by only by two points in the table but with a game more still to play.
