The Autumn Internationals get into full swing this week with a total of 76 players from the Guinness PRO12 in action for Italy, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

Ireland lead the way with all 23 of their matchday squad to face Canada plying their trade in the Guinness PRO12, with Leinster just edging Munster for the biggest contribution, with eight players to seven from Thomond Park.

However, it will be Peter O’Mahony, who played in Munster’s win over Ospreys last Friday, who captains the side in the absence of Rory Best.

While Leinster have the most representatives with Ireland, Glasgow Warriors will have the most internationals in action in all for the four countries.

The 2014/15 Guinness PRO12 champions provide 11 players to Scotland’s 23 for their clash with Australia, a lineup featuring 17 players from the league.

They also have one player in the Italy team to take on New Zealand, with flanker Simone Favaro included in the back row by Conor O’Shea.

He is joined in the Azzurri squad by nine players each from Zebre and Benetton Treviso, second only to the Warriors in terms of internationals in action this weekend.

Finally, in Wales, there will be players from each of the four regions in action, with six Scarlets and six Cardiff Blues in Rob Howley’s matchday squad.

And the Scarlets will even have one player in action at BT Murrayfield, with John Barclay named on the flank for Scotland by Vern Cotter.
