Benetton Rugby Team Release

Guinness PRO12 Editor

28 Dec 2012

At 3pm on Saturday 29th December, Benetton Treviso play against Zebre in the return match of the Italian derby.

Franco Smith almost confirms the backs, where the only difference with last week’s side is Tobias Botes, who is starting at half-back, thus moving Edoardo Gori to the wing, and Kris Burton, who plays at fly-half.

In the pack, there are many changes.

Paul Derbyshire is back as first string flanker and also Robert Barbieri is back, after recovering from the injury suffered in November during the test against Australia.

Francesco Minto has been confirmed as lock, but is playing together with Valerio Bernabò. Leonardo Ghiraldini, who played his 50th game with the green and white jersey – jersey that will be worn again after the three matches with the orange one – is confirmed as captain, while Bees Roux and Matteo Muccignat are to join him in the front row.
