Bradley eyes home comforts after another Edinburgh defeat

Edinburgh head coach Michael Bradley admitted he was looking forward to some home comforts after seeing his side’s miserable 2012 run continue in the RaboDirect PRO12 at Ulster.

Play-off chasing Ulster ran in six tries to extend their formidable streak at Ravenhill while Bradley’s side could only respond with one in each half from Sep and Tim Visser respectively.

It means that despite reaching the Heineken Cup quarter-finals, Edinburgh are yet to clinch a RaboDirect PRO12 win in 2012, losing their last six matches, and now sit 11th in the table.

It’s a stark contrast from their continental form but Bradley believes there were positives to take from Edinburgh’s performance, and with two home RaboDirect matches and their semi-final with Toulouse at Murrayfield on the horizon, he’s convinced a change of fortunes is just around the corner.

He said: “Well done to Ulster, they were the better team but I think our boys deserve some credit for sticking to the task throughout this match and for the endeavour they showed out there.

“We now have two weeks without matches to regroup before going into three he home games in front of the Murrayfield crowd.”
