Denis Leamy has admitted Munster are determined to win the Magners League after he led the red army to a 13-6 victory over the Scarlets to guarantee a home play-off semi-final.

The two sides were locked at 6-6 with just over 10 minutes to play after Paul Warwick and Rhys Priestland had traded penalties.

But Simon Zebo pounced for an opportunist try on 68 minutes to clinch a dramatic win.

The narrow victory ensured Munster finished top of the Magners League and secured a Thomond Park play-off semi-final with two regular season games still left to play.

Tony McGahan's men are also in the hunt to lift the Amlin Challenge Cup and will enter two semi-finals in the coming weeks.

They face Harlequins in the Amlin Challenge Cup semi-finals at Thomond Park on April 30, before the Magners League play-offs on the weekend of May 13.

Leamy, who has racked up 85 Magners League appearances for Munster, was overjoyed to secure a vital home semi-final and admitted his side were now determined to complete a league and cup double.

"We're delighted to get the home draw," said Leamy. "A home semi-final is massive for us and we're looking forward to it.

"It will be a massive occasion at Thomond Park and hopefully we can end the season with two trophies in the cabinet.

"This is us paying our fans back and we have a chance to go on and pick up another piece of silverware."

Munster face the Ospreys, who are battling for their own play-off place, this Saturday before finishing off the regular season with a home tie against Connacht.
