Italy make six changes for Scotland trip

Italy coach Nick Mallet has made six changes to his side to face Scotland at Murrayfield on Saturday.

Benetton Treviso duo Alberto Sgarbi and Kris Burton replace centre Gonzalo Garcia and fly-half Luciano Orquera respectively.

Flanker Paul Derbyshire earns his first start of the tournament while hooker Leonardo Ghiraldini and prop Salvatore Perugini return to the team and second-row Quintin Geldenhuys is promoted from the bench.

Italy are currently fifth in the standings, two points clear of bottom side Scotland.

Italy will go into the game with further confidence having beaten their opponents in three of the last four encounters between them, including a victory at Murrayfield in 2007.
