Teen sensation George North will return to Magners League action tonight as the Scarlets let their frustration loose.

The Scarlets had been early pace-setters in all competitions but have seen their season derailed after suffering six consecutive defeats.

The latest of those came at the hands of Ulster who took the spoils at Parc y Scarlets thanks to a last minute Ruan Pienaar penalty.

Scarlets head coach Nigel Davies is still fuming from his side’s performance especially at the set-piece. But he is looking for a fired-up Scarlets side to put things right when they meet Edinburgh tonight.

“I am pleased it is a short turnaround because I am expecting an angry bunch of players to take the field and put things right,” said Davies

"I can't ever see our line-out being that poor again — if it did get to that point it would be unacceptable.

"The calls were correct, the execution was poor, along with the throwing in, the inability to catch and the timing of the lifts, basic skills.

"The forwards were down and rightly so. Ultimately, it is my responsibility for the team to function and I will take the stick over why that line-out performance was so poor, but they have to take responsibility as well.

"It is up to them to stand up and be counted as individuals."

They will be boosted by the return of North, who makes his first appearance in three months since suffering a shoulder injury. The young wing took the Magners League by storm at the beginning of the season, scoring four tries in his first four appearances.
