Scarlets head coach Nigel Davies has revealed the region are making big steps over the futures of some of their players.
The Llanelli-based region have already lost the services of New Zealand centre Regan King, who will join Clermont Auvergne at the end of this season.
But Davies is confident that there will be no exodus from Parc-Y-Scarlets.
"We are in the middle of negotiations with a lot of people," said Davies.
"What I will say is that after the RBS 6 Nations we will making some significant announcements in terms of re-signings.
"And I'm particularly happy with where we have got to on that front.
"I can't really comment on individual cases because we are still speaking to some other individuals that we need to re-contract.
"But we will be speaking individuals that we need to re-contract in the period between now and the end of the Six Nations."
The news will be a major boost to the Scarlets, who are pushing for a place in the Magners League play-offs. They currently lie in fourth place having been one of the main pace-setters during the first half of the campaign.
They will be hoping to bounce back from their narrow loss at Connacht when they welcome Ulster to west Wales tomorrow night.
