Isaac Boss starred for Leinster in their 30-13 victory over Ulster in Belfast yesterday but is already looking forward to his side’s next Magners League clash against Connacht on New Year’s Day.

Leinster moved up into fourth in the table and Man of the Match Boss saig he was delighted with his side’s festive victory.

“I have really been looking forward to coming back to Ravenhill and I’m delighted with the win because Ulster are a very good side,” he said.

“They have been going very well recently and have a good, young and talented squad so it was always going to be a tough test.

“It was all about putting in a good performance and I thought that our forwards led the way in that regard.

“It was a pleasing win and we will be looking to improve on this against a good Connacht side this weekend.”

Last season’s beaten finalists took a while to get into their stride in this campaign but have rediscovered the form that saw them finish at the helm of the Magners League table last season in recent weeks.

And for head coach Joe Schmidt he is finally seeing the results he has been looking for since taking over in Dublin during the summer.

“My goal is to get them to play well,” he said.

“Try to construct something that suits the way they play. We showed a lot of enthusiasm out there. Not always accurate but enthusiastic and we are improving.”
